Black Girl CEO

Black Girl CEO™ is a platform for mobilizing millions of Black women to cultivate their leadership skills at the highest level. As stated by Essence CEO, Caroline A. Wanga, “Black women are the CEOs of home, community and culture,” but we’re also increasingly filling leadership roles in Fortune 500s and most importantly in our own enterprises. As Goldman Sachs has recently recognized with their $2 Billion investment in Black women founders, when Black women are economically empowered, everybody wins.

“When a Black woman entrepreneur is able to grow her business, she employs Black people in the community, she’s a leader in that community, she mentors in that community. The ripple effect of investing in a Black woman entrepreneur is tremendous.” – Asahi Pompey, President of the Goldman Sachs Foundation

Though Black women build the family, the community, civil society and the business world, we are more likely than others to suffer from critical mental and physical health challenges that impede our ability to contribute at our highest level. Because of systemic injustice making Black women one of the most marginalized groups in the world, Black women’s superior leadership contributions come at an exceptional cost.

To address this, Black Girl CEO™ provides community, connection, support and protection while increasing access to capital and teaching profitability. This platform is a safe haven for Black feminine-bodied people who desire to lead and impact the world in ways that optimize their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health and the wellness of all around them.

With our private community and resource directory (launching June 5, 2023) and our inaugural conference (June 2024), members will benefit from fireside chats with some of the world’s leading thinkers and enterprise builders; and a private community with tools, resources, content and events for cultivating healthy, thriving women leaders.

Can you imagine a world in which Black women at all levels are thriving in all dimensions of our lives? We can. We know that in such a world, peace, power and prosperity in purpose will be accessible to all mankind. Black Girl CEO Network is committed to seeing this world come to pass.
